Human Front Aid: How digital design makes concrete help easier

Since last week, the new website of Human Front Aid live — a project that connects more than just pages and links. It shows what design can do when it is not only beautiful but meaningful: creating orientation, building trust, facilitating concrete help.

Together with the team led by Bänz Margot and the Board of Management, it was created over several sprints — well thought out, tested, sharpened. We supported the project from the start: conceptually, visually, linguistically. Always with the aim not to persuade people, but to make it easy for them to make a donation.

Trust starts with design

Humanitarian aid is based on trust. And trust starts where communication becomes clear. The structure of the website was therefore no accident: modular, journalistically inspired, with deliberately lush navigation. If you want to deepen yourself, you will find depth. Anyone who wants to help will immediately find their way.

Particular attention was paid to the trust elements:

  • transparent donation processes
  • Data protection insights
  • Links to reports, partners, original sources

The visual language remains calm, down-to-earth, approachable. Emotionally, yes — but without pathos.

Technically strong, deliberately no code

The implementation was carried out in Webflow, with CMS areas for reports, dossiers, partner sites, FAQs, and more. Everything is connected through a sophisticated cross-link system that provides orientation without overloading.

In addition, a technical foundation that is impressive:

  • 4 languages (DE, EN, FR, UKR)
  • 100% PageSpeed Score (Google Lighthouse)
  • over 90% accessibility score
  • clean semantics & structured data for SEO
  • Analytics integration for impact analysis
  • Custom code is used selectively — always where no code reaches its limits.

Clarity instead of campaign

The website is aimed at two very different target groups:

  • trusts with clear information needs
  • private individualswho want to help directly

The structure works for both: It offers reliable information, clear messages and direct donation options — whether by card, payment slip or association documents.

We have deliberately decided against dramatic campaign logic. No big claims, no alarmism. In return, clarity, attitude and a highly informative digital presence.

If you want to help:

Every donation counts — directly and without detours.
